Where did it all begin?

My lifelong interest in astrology became a passion when I first started my formal studies in Astrology in the late 80’s in Bristol, UK with Psychological Astrologer, Cate Reidy. Following 6 years of weekly classes, I completed the three year Diploma course at the Centre for Psychological Astrology in London, (Jungian focus), where I was awarded a distinction. Whilst there, I had the good fortune to study with Liz Greene, Melanie Reinhart and the late Charles Harvey, amongst many others. I also discovered with great delight that my 90+ year old Italian aunt had been an astrologer for most of her life!

Other Training & Credentials

My primary degree is in Sociology from Trinity College Dublin and later completed an MSW in Clinical Social Work in the USA, as well as a B. A. in Counselling and Psychotherapy in Ireland. I am also a trained Family and Business Mediator, a Reiki Master and I trained in Past Life Regression with Dr. Brian Weiss.

My work experience includes over 17 years as a social worker in the voluntary and statutory sectors in Ireland and the UK. My clinical work spanned child abuse, addictions, fostering, adoption and domestic violence. I also taught Social Work at the University of the West of England for two years. From 2000 – 2004 I co-owned and directed ‘The Bristol School of Holistic Therapies’ in the UK, where I taught astrology. I currently work as a psychological and relationship astrologer, as well as a couple’s and individual psychotherapist. Feel free to check out my counselling website: www.couplesandindividualpsychotherapy.com. In 2016 I co-founded The Center for Relationships and Astrology which I continue to run with my colleagues Rachel Lang & Anne Ortelee. We offer live, online certificate courses in The Astrology of Love and Relationships, as well as courses in Psychological Astrology.

I also created Astrology Ireland which offers online and in-person webinars and meetups.

What informs me?

My work as a Psychological Astrologer is informed by my belief in the power of the unconscious, and particularly by the writings of Carl Jung, Joseph Campbell, Marian Woodman, James Hollis and Liz Greene. I view the chart as a symbolic tool which can assist us in understanding the core themes we have chosen to experience on a soul level in this lifetime. I am also informed by Reiki and the writings of Edgar Cayce, Neale Donald Walsh, Marianne Williamson and Gary Zukav, among many others. I also love the work of Michael and Raphaelle Tamura, which has helped me access and apply my intuition to my work.

My main focus and motivation as a Psychological and Relationship Astrologer, is to facilitate ways of remembering and living out our Soul Purpose in this lifetime, and enjoying fulfilling soul focused loving relationships. Accessing meaning and joy within each of us, through a deeper understanding of our birth chart, can support us in living out the most expansive and creative version of who we are. In remembering who we truly are and following our hopes and dreams, we enable others to do the same. This I believe, is our greatest gift to ourselves and to each other.

Increasing awareness of diversity has always been an important aspect of my work, as an astrologer and a psychotherapist.

The Here & Now

My Astrological work has evolved over the years, merging a soul centered focus, with a psychological and intuitive approach. I continue to offer individual and couple consultations from my home base in Dublin, Ireland, as well as teaching courses and seminars internationally in-person and online.

Other Interests

One of my great passions in life is the ocean. Having grown up on in Ireland and spent several years on Oahu, HI, I have always felt a sense of comfort surrounded by a large body of water. Since childhood, I’ve been fascinated with the ocean and I love boogie boarding, although I don’t get to do it as much as I used to, since leaving Hawai’i!

I very much look forward to meeting you!
